Does your child have an interest in Circus Skills, performance, being creative and free spirited?
CircusSeen offer circus skills training for students who are interested in learning the disciplined art of Circus. Students are trained in a structured and fun environment by professional circus instructors. Each term is dedicated to the discipline of 2 specific skills. Instructors encourage the students to develop their skills and create their own end of term performance piece, which is then presented to all the parents. An end of year presentation performance of their most developed skill is created and formed into a troupe or solo show, including performers name, choreography, costumes, make up and music!
Students from this class have the opportunity to train up to performer and teacher level. We offer work experience opportunities and Duke of Edinburgh awards. This in turn presents an opportunity to obtain work with CircusSeen and other leading U.K. agencies and Circuses!
Each skill is taught in a fun, interactive and creative way with patience, positivity and encouragement. We don’t just teach the skill – students learn about the heritage of each skill, and how the skill has evolved over time – many circus skills have a rich history!
CircusSeen is unique – all student learn positive thinking and mediation as part of the workshop. Why?
Meditation helps to calm the mind and brings focus, when a child is focused, they achieve their goals much quicker. It helps to unlock their full potential!
What also makes us unique is our amazing library service !
Just leave your £10 deposit and each week the library is open for the children to borrow a piece of equipment which they can take home and practice throughout the week. We are proud to offer this service and believe it is the only one of its kind in the UK.
Stage Show -5.15pm
Throughout the term the students learn different pieces of circus equipment, and work towards an end of term show. On the last class of each term, the students display the work they’ve done that term to parents/guardians. It’s important for the students confidence and self esteem that they are supported during this show.
On this week we ask you to come early to support your, and the other children’s hard work. Students are welcome to invite extended family members to see the show.
